Ashlei Givhan, LSW

Hi, I’m a trauma-informed therapist and Clinical Psychology doctoral student. I strive to create a welcoming, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. I work with children, teens and adults navigating trauma, emotional and behavioral challenges, relationship concerns, life transitions, parenting struggles, family conflict, and women’s issues. My approach is individualized and collaborative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Systems Theory, Adlerian philosophy, and person-centered, trauma-informed care. I’m also committed to providing affirming, inclusive care for LGBTQ+ clients and individuals from diverse backgrounds.

I have specialized experience in domestic violence therapy, Partner Abuse Intervention Programs (PAIP), parenting education and coaching, children’s services, and youth support groups. Whether I’m working with an individual or family, I focus on building healthy coping skills, strengthening communication, improving relationships, and helping clients recognize their strengths. I believe our past experiences shape who we are, but they don’t have to define where we’re going. My goal is to help you feel supported as you navigate life’s challenges, build confidence, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Life can be challenging, and sometimes we all need a space where we feel understood, supported, and encouraged to grow…
